Digital Transformation
Improving internal processes and enabling new services: this is a necessity which involves infrastructure, platforms, and people. All of this is embodied by the Digital Transformation process.
By 2023, we intend to complete our current investment activities, which began in 2020; the sum, which totals more than 200 million Euros, has been applied in favour of technological evolution, innovative projects, and the digital transformation. In this way, we have been able to predict any changes in the market through initiatives which have solidified our competitive advantage.
The re-farming process is crucial to our Industrial Plan. Freeing up frequency band 700MHz and consequently upgrading the technology (DVB-T2) and the standards (HEVC) of digital terrestrial broadcasting networks – as well as extending coverage – requires a significant investment of around €150 million.
